There are multiple phases of building a business or creating a product that ends up on QVC or in big retail stores across the globe. People always wonder how to get on QVC, how to get a book deal, how to get more customers and so on and so forth. Often the answer is pure hustle.

First you need a great idea. Next you need to get feedback on whether anyone would be interested in paying money for your product or idea. Then you need to make it, or find someone who can, at a cost that enables you to sell it and make money. Finally you need to get it out to the world via marketing and advertising or convincing others to do the selling for you like QVC or major retailers.

Most important you need to be optimistic, confident and endlessly hustle in the face of often tremendous challenges, setbacks and people telling you you’re crazy.

On this episode of Make Your Mark I talk to my buddy Adam Levine about his journey from solving the problem of clutter to actually turning the idea into a marketable product and eventually landing on QVC.  He goes on to talk about future plans and why he hasn’t approached The Shark Tank yet!
